Questions
Good to know.
How many physiotherapy sessions will I need?
It depends on your condition and your goals. After your assessment, your physiotherapist will suggest a plan and review it with you as you progress.
Can physiotherapy help after a stroke?
Yes. Physiotherapy after a stroke works on balance, strength, walking and using the affected side of the body. Starting early and practising often makes a real difference.
Do you offer physiotherapy at home?
Yes. We make organised home visits in Nairobi and across Kenya for people who find it hard to travel to the clinic.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothes you can move in, and flat shoes. Bring any walking aids you already use.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes. Many insurers, including CIC, GA, Liberty and Vitality, settle bills with us directly. Some, such as AAR, APA, Jubilee and Minet, need to approve treatment first, and with others, such as Britam, Old Mutual and Sanlam, you pay and claim the cost back. Please check your cover with us before your first visit. You can also pay by M-Pesa, cash or card.
Working together
Our other therapies.
Many people see more than one of our therapists. We plan their sessions together.
